Introduction

Despite these technological advancements, many rural communities in Nigeria still experience low access to quality healthcare services. This research seeks to examine how Artificial Intelligence can improve healthcare delivery in rural Nigeria and identify the major barriers preventing effective implementation.

Problem Statement

Although AI technologies are improving healthcare systems globally, rural communities in Nigeria continue to experience poor healthcare access due to limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and shortage of healthcare professionals. There is limited research focusing specifically on how AI-driven healthcare solutions can be adapted effectively within rural Nigerian communities.
